Dr. Jinhee Kang (she/her)

I am a counseling psychologist, licensed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. I provide individual psychotherapy and relationship/couples counseling.

Prior to my full-time independent practice, I have worked as a staff psychologist at various university counseling centers for over 20 years.

Most recently, at the University of Maryland Counseling Center, I provided counseling for a diverse clientele with respect to gender, race/ethnicity, cultural background and sexual orientation/gender identity. 

Master’s (1995) and PhD (2001) in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. 

Doctoral internship at the University Counseling Center at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2000). 

Post-doctoral training at University Counseling Services at Virginia Commonwealth University (2002).
